Employees' training is now one of the most important factors influencing organisations' development. Continuous raising of professional qualifications should be a permanent process. What is more important, not only managers, but also lower level employees have to realise how important impact on their work can have training. It is especially important in case of the employees of institutions serving as advisory bodies. Malopolska Extension Center employees see the necessity of training, are interested in participation although to some extend they may be afraid of it. The main factor conditioning participation decisions has been will and desire of extending their professional skills and knowledge. Training allows them to learn new technologies, accelerate information transfer and changes in rural areas. They also put attention to the problems of environmental protection and building social relationships.
