Oznaczono zawartość azotanów i azotynów w sokach warzywnych i owocowo- warzywnych dostępnych w handlu Białegostoku. W badanych sokach średnia zawartość azotanów nie przekraczała dopuszczalnej normy i nie stwierdzono obecności azotynów.

Nitrate and nitrite content of vegetable and fruit-vegetable juices available in Białystok was investigated. No detectable amounts of nitrites were present in the juices, and the mean nitrate content did not exceed the permissible limits. Juice from Alima Gerbera S.A contained insignificantly higher amounts of nitrates than those from the other two companies, the Fruit and Vegetable Co., Białystok, and the Fruit and Vegetable Preserves, Milejów.
