Agricultural advisory system in Poland has actively participated for the last few years in the process of modernization of family farms and multifunctional development of rural areas. To increase the efficiency of advisory activities effect on rural areas development requires: 1. Improvement of advisory activities efficiency through increasing the skills of managing an advisory organization; 2. Working out and carrying into effect new technologies which would decrease production costs and improve the quality of products; 3. Increase of farmers’ skills in the range of organization and farm management, which includes: creating the inner information system in a farm, which would enable one to observe production processes, their estimation and to provide with national data to take decisions; 4. Support the organization of new economic initiatives in the country with farmers’ participation, especially in the range of supply and outlet (coops, companies and so on); 5. Creating the system of computer data for the needs of macroregion in the range of: a) functioning of the supply and outlet market (marketing, agrobusiness); b) the data bank on agriculture and food economy for the purpose of managing on a commune, province and region scale; c) the signal information on chances and dangers in agriculture and the country; d) modern production and organizational solutions to be used in the conditions of market economy; 6. Adjustment of forms and methods of advisory, dissemination and information activities to material and intellectual resources of advisory organizations and to farmers’ families and country people needs.
