Ocena wzrostu roslin, plonowania i jakosci owocow osmiu odmian oberzyny [Solanum melongea L.] w uprawie szklarniowej

Features of vegetative growth, yield, and its quality of eggplant cultivars: Murena F1( Solara F1, Liona F1, Tania F1, Cosmos F1 , Madonna F1, Oscar F1, and Adona F1 grown in a glasshouse were investigated. Plants of Solara F1, proved to grow most intensely, the ones of Oscar F1, and Cosmos F1, — moderately, Significant differences with respect to yield earliness were found. The varieties Oscar F1 , Madonna F1 and Cosmos F1, were the earliest. Murena F1 and Solara F1 reached maturity later. With respect to total yield Oscar F1, Liona F1, and Madonna F1, were the best (9.90-10.17 kg/m2); Solara F1, and Murena F1, the worst (6.83-7.71 kg/m2). The varieties Oscar F1, Cosmos F1 and Liona F1, were characterized also by the best marketable quality of fruits. All compared cultivars had high dry matter, and the content sugars before and after inversion but the low content of L-ascorbic acid.
