Makroekonomiczne uwarunkowania obrotu ziemią rolniczą w Polsce

In terms of economic growth the share of agricultural sector in creating national income is decreasing. It means that the ability of creating incomes by agriculture is decreasing. Reducing employment in the agricultural sector so that the value of production per one employed person was higher could be a way to improve the situation. It involves the accelaration of the land and capital concentration. Concentaration of agricultural land depends on the ability to absorb useless workforce from agricultural sector by the national economy. The analysis presented in the paper proves that there is a strong negative correlation between the number of employees and the index of areable land concentration. It proves that the high level of employment slows down the agricultural land concentration.
