The present investigations were aimed at recognition of the metabolism of caesium in the muscular tissues, with the purpose of determining a selective tissue, optimally suitable for investigations on radioactive contamination. An impulse to the investigations have given the results of previous tentative experiments suggesting an unequal distrihution in the muscular tissues of cattle.
