W artykule przedstawiono metody badań powierzchniowych, wspierające prace kartograficzne, jak i monitoringowe, prowadzone w zakresie przeciwdziałania skutkom ruchów masowych. Wykorzystanie naziemnego, jak i lotniczego skaningu, umożliwia pozyskiwanie bardzo dokładnych modeli powierzchni terenu.
This article presents the methods of earth surface examination supporting cartographic and monitoring works aiming at the prevention of consequences of mass landslides. Thanks to ground and airborne scanning, it is possible to obtain very accurate models of earth surface. The practical usage of methods described in the article has indicated their great effectiveness while monitoring landslide activity and updating maps. These techniques primarily allow to collect very precise quantitative data for expansive landslides in a relatively short period of time. Furthermore, by using archive data (photogrametry, InSAR), it is also possible to examine the landslide activity in the past.
