Transport i ICT jako obszar smart city
Koncepcja smart city to nowoczesna idea rozwoju miast będąca odpowiedzią na nasilające się procesy urbanizacyjne. Smart city jest złożoną koncepcją, wyróżniającą wagę jak i istotę wielu aspektów rozwoju miasta. Obszarem wyróżniającym koncepcję smart city na tle modeli zrównoważonego rozwoju jest inteligentna mobilność – transport oraz ICT, której głównym zadaniem jest wykorzystanie zaawansowanych technologii do racjonalnego wykorzystania infrastruktury transportowej oraz optymalizacji ruchu drogowego. Celem artykułu było teoretyczno-empiryczne przedstawienie transportu i ICT jako obszaru smart city. Część teoretyczna pracy nawiązuje do idei smart city. Przedstawiona w niej została definicja i jak obszary, w których koncepcja smart city ma zastosowanie, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem obszaru jakim jest inteligentna mobilność – transport oraz ICT. W części praktycznej zaprezentowane zostały wybrane rozwiązania z zakresu transportu i ICT wykorzystywane w mieście Edynburg (szczególna uwaga poświęcona została transportowi publicznemu).
The concept of smart city is a modern idea of urban development, which is a response to the intensifying urbanization processes. Smart city is a complex concept, distinguishing the essence of many aspects of city development. The area distinguishing the concept of smart city against the background of sustainable development models is smart mobility. The main task of smart mobility is to use advanced technology to rationalize transport infrastructure and optimize traffic. The aim of the article was the theoretical and empirical presentation of transport and ICT as a smart city area. Theoretical part of the work refers to the idea of smart city - the definition and the areas in which the smart city concept applies, with particular focus on the area of intelligent mobility - transport and ICT. In the practical part presented are selected transport and ICT solutions used in the city of Edinburgh (special attention has been given to public transport). Attempts to bring these issues closer have been made due to their continued development and attractiveness.
