The article presents the technology of Ostrołęka CCGT unit. The combined cycle has been described. The individual gas turbine, steam turbine, generator and HRSG boiler are also discussed. In addition, the auxiliary buildings of the Ostrołęka unit are presented. The next section discusses the impact of the Ostrołęka CCGT unit on the energy security of the Polish Power System.
