Działania zawodowe i społeczne inż. dyplomowanego Pawła Nestrypke w warunkach zarządzania przedsiębiorstwami komunalnymi

Inż. dyplomowany Paweł Nestrypke w swoim życiu zawodowym zarządzał miejskimi przedsiębiorstwami komunikacji w Poznaniu i Zagłębiu Dąbrowskim i na Śląsku. Jednocześnie działał społecznie, m.in. w Stowarzyszeniu Elektrotechników Polskich. Inżynier Paweł Nestrypke umiejętnie potrafi łączyć liczne funkcje zawodowe z wrażliwością społeczną, poprzez zapewnienie dobrostanu pracownikom w zarządzanych przez Niego przedsiębiorstwach. Zbudował mieszkania dla pracowników, Dom Tramwajarza w Poznaniu, a na Śląsku świetlice tramwajowe.

Certified Engineer Paweł Nestrypke was born on 30 January 1882 in Kalisz. After his maturity exam, he studied at the Technical University of Karlsruhe. He initially worked for BOVERI , later as director of the machine factory in Bila Tserkva near Kiev. After returning to Poland, he became director of the Poznań Electric Railway in 1921. From 1931, he managed the public transport in the Silesian-Dąbrowa mining district, practically until his death in 1950. Engineer Paweł Nestrypke was able to skillfully combine his numerous professional functions, activities in the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers, with social sensitivity. He built housing for the workers and cared for their families. He built the Tramway Workers' Home, where, with the participation of his wife Zofia, he carried out educational and caring activities, ensuring the welfare of the workers in the enterprises he managed. During the war, while working all the time in public transport companies, he was active in the structures of the National Army. After the war, still working professionally, he was a lecturer at the Gliwice University of Technology.
