Bezpieczeństwo społeczne a sytuacja kryzysowa w gospodarce

The article presents problems of social security in the context of a crisis situation in economy. Special attention is drawn to the inseparability of the national security and social security notion, as well as a method to achieve social security applied by the European Union. Various approaches to the notion of the security of the state are presented and their dynamics is pointed out. The place of social security in the current National Security Strategy of the Republic of Poland is emphasised.
