Influence of Numbering Scheme on the Efficiency of Failure Detector in Electric Power Utility

In this paper we consider detector of faulty links in Electric Power Utility network. The detection is based on the prolonged response time of the called party. It is presented how detector efficiency can be increased by suitable directory, or by suitable called numbers of test telephones. The method is illustrated by few numerical examples.
