Polimery i kompozyty polimerowe w pojazdach samochodowych

W artykule zaprezentowano przegląd stosowanych w budowie pojazdów samochodowych tworzyw i kompozytów polimerowych. Przedstawiono obecne zastosowania polimerów na elementy nadwozia, podwozia i silnika oraz propozycje użycia tworzyw sztucznych w najnowszych rozwiązaniach konstrukcyjnych pojazdów. Opisano również technologie wytwarzania wybranych tworzyw oraz problemy związane z recyklingiem tej grupy materiałów konstrukcyjnych.

In this paper the review of polymers and polymer composites used in motor vehicles has been presented. Actual applications of polymers used in producing of the body elements, the chassis and the engine have been presented. The applications proposals of plastics in latest solutions of vehicle designs have been shown too. Also the production technology of the chosen materials and problems connected with the recycling of these constructional material groups have been described.
