The article presents problems connected with the scope of the Border Guard Commander’s activity, who deals with a particular aspect of the government administration’s functioning. He is a central body, managing an essential area of public security administration. A very important aspect of his duties is to secure the border of the state that is executed by subordinated to him auxiliary apparatus and border governmental administration.
