Every adult person has experienced being a child. Being a child not only the issue of the age but also culture. On one hand, being a child is an individual experience and, on the other, being a part of a particular cultural community. Each phase of life creates a separate reality with specific developmental tasks, characteristic experiences, benefits and problems. The aim of this paper is to draw attention to the alternative solutions of pre-school architecture standards, forming a foothold towards optimization of the functional and spatial and formal solutions. The subject seems to be explored, but with continuous social change, new technologies and new research results in other disciplines, ongoing research is needed, both in terms of state and development trends, ad hoc needs analysis, and future needs.
