Rozwój infrastruktury transportu w Polsce po wstąpieniu do UE

Specyficzne cechy infrastruktury transportu powodują, że w procesie jej rozwoju muszą być przestrzegane pewne zasady, które warunkują harmonijny rozwój systemów transportowych. W artykule przeanalizowano proces dotychczasowego rozwoju infrastruktury transportu w Polsce w świetle wspomnianych zasad oraz efektów społeczno-gospodarczych tego rozwoju. Wykazano, że można znaleźć wiele pozytywnych tendencji, które przyniosły wyraźne efekty społeczno-gospodarcze. Niestety zachwianie równowagi gałęziowej i tym samym ograniczenie konkurencyjności gałęzi przyjaznych dla środowiska niekorzystnie wpływa na całą gospodarkę i wymaga szybkiej reakcji.

Specific features of the transport infrastructure caused, that in the process of its development must be respected certain rules, that determine the harmonious development of transport systems. The article analyzes the current process of development of transport infrastructure in Poland in the light of these principles, and socio-economic effects of this development. It has been shown, that it is possible to find many positive trends that have brought significant socio-economic effects. Unfortunately, the modal imbalance, which reduced the competitiveness of the environmental friendly modes of transport brings negative effects the whole economy and requires a rapid response.
