Dylematy oceny efektywności proekologicznych form turystyki

The paper presents the problems related with evaluation of effectiveness in respect of different conditions and by means of different criteria with the focus on tourism. According to the author the evaluation of the environmental impact of tourism - so important in pro-ecological tourism - especially in the unique natural areas, is very difficult. Ecological changes should be examined on long-term basis. Evaluation of the environmental impact of tourism should account for social effectiveness. It facilitates an economic account and at the same time makes us aware that the one cannot totally rely on the results since they relate only to those aspects which can be measured in terms of money.
