Wybrane aspekty rozwoju transportu i logistyki w regionach przygranicznych

Do podstawowych zadań UE należy zwiększenie społeczno-gospodarczej integracji w ramach Wspólnoty. Głównymi instrumentami realizacji ww. zadania jest międzyregionalna oraz transgraniczna współpraca [ang.- Interregional and Cross-Border Cooperation – ICBC]. W artykule pokazano, że wspieranie wspólnych projektów wielostronnych ukierunkowanych na szybki rozwój regionów przygranicznych służy nie tylko uściśleniu współpracy gospodarczej i kontaktów międzyludzkich, ale także zwiększeniu mobilności społeczeństwa. Wyniki przygranicznej współpracy gospodarczej w latach 2007-2013 pozytywnie wpłynęły na wydajność systemów transportu i magazynowania ładunków przemieszczanych w relacjach międzynarodowych, wzmocniły bezpieczeństwo zintegrowanych łańcuchów dostaw, zwiększyły dostępność infrastruktury transportowej dla użytkowników, odegrały kluczowe role w procesach integracyjnych. Szczególna uwaga została zwrócona na kierunki dalszych działań w zakresie poprawy efektywności ekonomicznej procesów logistycznych, a także integralności systemów transportowych zarówno na poziomie lokalnym, jak i regionalnym.

The major EU Policy area is complete integration within the Community. The main instruments for the implementation of the aforementioned task is to achieve cross-border and interregional cooperation the so-called ICBC. The article shows that the promotion of joint multilateral projects aimed at rapid development of border regions is used to clarify the economic cooperation and people-to-people contacts as well as increase the mobility of the all groups of inhabitants. The results of cross-border economic cooperation for the period 2007-2013 has a positive impact on the performance of transportation systems and cargo storage, strengthen safety of integrated supply chains, increased the availability of transport infrastructure for the users. All of this have played a key role in the integration process within the Community. Particular attention has been paid to the guidelines for further actions needed to improve quality and efficiency of logistic processes, as well as the integrity of the transport systems both at the cross-border as well as interregional levels.
