Działania nieregularne : współczesne wyzwania

W teorii taktyki działania nieregularne są zaliczane do działań asymetrycznych. W obowiązujących regulaminach utożsamia się je z działaniami sił, które pozostały w terenie zajętym przez przeciwnika. Zwykle mówi się o działaniach wymuszonych i pomija aspekt celowego, zamierzonego pozostawiania sił w obcym terenie, co wynika z obecnej struktury wojsk lądowych (siły ciężkie) oraz dążenia dowódców do zachowania maksymalnego potencjału sił regularnych. W rozważaniach nad specyfiką działań nieregularnych warto odnieść się do doświadczeń zdobytych w ostatnich konfliktach zbrojnych, w których szeroko pojętym działaniom nieregularnym przypisuje się coraz większe znaczenie. Ponownie należy przeanalizować „zasięg” działań nieregularnych i ich wpływ na działania taktyczne w kontekście prowadzenia działań głębokich i zachowania ciągłości walki.

In the theory of tactics, irregular operations are part of asymmetric operations. In today's doctrines they are considered as actions undertaken by regular forces left behind enemy lines. Usually, these actions are recognized as forced by the enemy or the situation. The aspect of deliberately leaving some forces for the purpose of undertaking irregular operations is neglected. The reason for that phenomenon comes from the current structure of land forces (heavy forces) and the subconscious desire of commanders to maintain their combat power. Nowadays, the discussion on the specifies of conducting asymmetric operations should refer to the experiences gained from recent armed conflicts in which the broadly interpreted "irregular operations" have become increasingly important. In this context, both their range and influence on other tactical activities should be analyzed again, especially in conjunction to deep operations and maintaining continuity of battle.
