Modeling and simulation of industrial robot on rail track
Industrial robots are used for many tasks, mainly for material handling and welding. The use of additional axis for example rail track allows increase the robot workspace and make the manufacturing of large-size elements possible. The problem is to identify the correct parameters of axis motion. An example of modelling and simulation of robot on a rail track in Roboguide is presented. The obtained model can be used for off-line programming of robot work.
