Następstwa ograniczeń prawnych i kontroli emisji spalin w stacjach diagnostycznych na zanieczyszczenie środowiska przez transport samochodowy

W artykule opisano aspekty związane z wpływem toksycznych składników gazów wylotowych z silników pojazdów samochodowych na zanieczyszczenie środowiska naturalnego oraz problemy, które mają bezpośredni wpływ na zdrowie ludzi. Przedstawiono przepisy prawne obowiązujące w Unii Europejskiej, które obligują producentów pojazdów samochodowych do nie przekraczania dopuszczalnych wartości emisji toksycznych składników spalin. Przedstawiono proces wykonywania badań emisji toksycznych składników spalin z pojazdów samochodowych w stacjach diagnostycznych. Badania zostały wykonane w wybranych stacjach diagnostycznych. Na podstawie wyników badań reprezentatywnej grupy pojazdów przedstawiono grupy pojazdów, które nie spełniają wymaganych poziomów emisji spalin i mają bezpośredni wpływ na zanieczyszczenie środowiska.

The analysis of the quantitative status of vehicles in Poland shows that there is a continuous increase in registered vehicles. The vast majority are vehicles used and imported from abroad. The legal system and the introduction of the Euro has a direct impact on reducing the emission of harmful chemical substances contained in exhaust gases but the rules apply only to new vehicles. The results indicate that a significant proportion of vehicles in use is not able to fulfill the criteria for the fulfillment of the required exhaust emission limits in the course of the mandatory periodic technical inspection of vehicles. The main reason for not meeting the requirements is excessive exploitation elements directly responsible for reducing emissions of most vehicles. More than 70% of cars in use exceeds the age over 10 years.
