Funkcje kontraktów miejscowych w logistyce sił powietrznych NATO

The article presents the review of NATO experiences and conclusions drawn from them concerning conditions, procedures of signing and implementing local contracting for the troops logistic support, particularly air forces in their actions outside the home country. There have also been presented different kinds of local contracting and possible subject ranges of logistic resources contracting, the role and tasks of different NATO bodies (NAMSA MNC), and national ones (military contingent command and liaison logistic personnel). This form of logistic support organisation, also called “the third way” to ensure the troops logistic resources, appears to be very attractive and should be applied also by our armed forces, the air force including. The author has stressed that these are tasks of so-called “liaison officers teams” that, due to SACEUR directive, will have to carry out contracts for their own national contingents.
