Człowiek powinien być w centrum uwagi nowoczesnego przedsiębiorstwa, gdyż od niego zależy powodzenie przedsięwzięcia gospodarczego. Kształtowanie kultury bezpieczeństwa w przedsiębiorstwie jest integralną częścią zarządzania firmą, a wymiernymi efektami są zmniejszające się wskaźniki wypadkowości oraz ograniczenie strat wynikających ze zdarzeń wypadkowych. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest wskazanie i przybliżenie najistotniejszych czynników kształtujących kulturę bezpieczeństwa w przedsiębiorstwie.
The technical and technological progress have highly contributed to the improvement of living conditions as well as caused a lot of danger. New technologies, production process and challenges might bring about danger, unknown so far. Apart from technical activities that create and apply the safety procedures it appears to be necessary to conduct trainings, improve professional qualifications and motivate to put the safety rules of conduct into practice. One of the most significant elements of managing the work safety and hygiene is developing the suitable safety norms. The formation of the work safety and hygiene in the company has a direct influence on the workers’ attitude within the scope of safety and health care. The man should be the centre of attention of the developing company as the success of economic venture entirely depends on them. In addition, it seems necessary to bear in mind that the application of safety norms in the company is inseparably connected with its management. As a result, the notable effects seem to be the rate of accidents and the limitation of looses that arose from the accidents. The aim of the report was to outline the most significant factors constituting the work safety norms.
