Artykuł przedstawia przykład wdrożenia innowacji organizacyjnej oraz rolę przywództwa jako istotnego czynnika determinującego sukces wdrożenia. W pierwszym punkcie omówiono istotę przywództwa, zwracając szczególną uwagę na jego związek z procesem zarządzania. Następnie przybliżono zagadnienie innowacji organizacyjnej, omówiono uwarunkowania oraz etapy jej wdrożenia. Natomiast w trzecim punkcie krótko przedstawiono studium przypadku wraz ze spostrzeżeniami dotyczącymi pożądanych przejawów przywództwa w trakcie innowacyjnej zmiany. Ogólne wnioski dotyczące głównie instytucji sektora finansów publicznych zawarto w podsumowaniu.

The article shows an example of the implementation of the organizational innovation and the role of leadership as an important determining factor in the success of the implementation. In the first section discusses the essence of leadership, paying particular attention to relationship with the management process. Then described the issue of organizational innovation, shows the conditions and the stages of its implementation. Whereas in the third point and briefly describes a case study with insights regarding the desired expressions of leadership in innovative change. General conclusions concerning mainly the public finance sector institutions are contained in the summary.
