Historia chemii teoretycznej w Uniwersytecie Marii curie-Skłodowskiej w Lublinie

The article describes the history of research in the field of theoretical chemistry at UMCS. The organizational structures within which this research was conducted were discussed. The most important research topics are briefly presented. The stages of the scientific career of employees of the Department of Theoretical Chemistry and the Department for the Modelling of Physicochemical Processes are described. The professional achievements of these scientists, awards and distinctions received by them are listed.
