Preservation of sacred monuments listed in the register – a case study of the parish church of St. Tomas the Apostle in Runowo

In this paper, the author wishes to focus on the benefits of preservation over monuments of a sacred purpose. In the comprehensive analytical considerations, attention was focused mainly on the historic tissue with features similar to the parish church of St. Thomas the Apostle in Runowo, the subject of the detailed study. Consideration was given to the time of construction, architectural style, form of protection and location, which the author reduced to the West Pomerania. The author, based on a case study, described not only the history of the building, but also current efforts to preserve it.

W niniejszym opracowaniu autor pragnie skupić się na korzyściach, wynikających z ochrony nad zabytkami o charakterze sakralnym. W kompleksowych analitycznych rozważaniach skoncentrowano uwagę głównie na tkance zabytkowej o cechach zbliżonych do kościoła parafialnego pw. św. Tomasza Apostoła w Runowie, stanowiącego przedmiot szczegółowego opracowania , tj. czas powstania, styl architektoniczny, forma ochrony oraz lokalizacja, którą autor ograniczył do województwa zachodniopomorskiego. Autor, opierając się na studium konkretnego przypadku, opisał nie tylko historię obiektu, ale również współczesne działania, których celem jest jego ochrona.
