W artykule przedstawiono rozważania związane z wykorzystaniem modułów bateryjnych w systemach zasilania gwarantowanego (UPS), skupiając główną uwagę na ich parametrach technicznych oraz własnościach funkcjonalnych. Dokonano ponadto przeglądu ogólnego zasobników energii stosowanych zarówno w modułach bateryjnych zasilaczy UPS, w przemyśle, w sprzęcie powszechnego użytku, jak również w energetyce.

This paper presents the considerations associated with the use of battery modules in the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, focusing attention on the technical parameters and functional properties. The author also made a general review of energy storage systems for use in the UPS battery modules, in the industry, consumer equipment, as well as in the energy sector.
