On Verification of Certain Machine Crushing Processes

The paper addresses to verification of certain models of crushing processes. In particular, the layer, sphere and modified sphere models will be considered. The main subject of the verification was focused at comparison of the theoretical predictions of the loads occurring in the working chamber of a jaw crusher during crushing process against the actual loads obtained in laboratory model tests carried out for double-toggle jaw crusher. Some of the discussed models provide for approximate estimations of maximum and average loads.
