The article discusses the existing and prospective methods of automatic reclosing of cable-overhead power lines. An overview description is given. The analysis of the features of the considered methods is carried out, the advantages and disadvantages are reflected, the structural diagrams are presented, the areas of application are determined. Highlighted the prospects of methods of automatic reclosing on combined overhead and underground cable power lines on the basis of wave principles.
