Dziedzictwo kulturowe a adaptacja starych i nowych emigrantów z Polski w społeczeństwie niemieckim

Artykuł omawia sytuację starych i nowych emigrantów z Polski w Düsseldorfie. W badaniach wzięło udział 150 osób. Emigracja polska jest wskaźnikowo demograficznie zróżnicowana i w różnym stopniu integruje się ze społeczeństwem niemieckim. Cechy najbardziej ją różnicujące to czas wyjazdu (i miejsce) z kraju pochodzenia. Migrantów przedakcesyjnych cechuje lepsza adaptacja w struktury nowego społeczeństwa niż poakcesyjnych (2004 r.). Migrantów cechuje słabe uczestnictwo w lokalnych strukturach społecznych i kulturze kraju docelowej emigracji.

The article relates to the situation of old and new Polish emigrants in Düsseldorf. The sample consisted of 150 individuals. Polish emigrants are demographically diversified and variously integrated with German society. The time of emigrants` departure and their country of origin are the characteristics that mostly diversify them. Pre-accession migrants are better adapted to the structures of a new society than post-accession immigrants (2004). The disadvantage of the Polish immigrants is their too weak participation in the local structures and culture of destination country.
