Starość struktury przestrzennej miasta przejawia się w liczbie przekształceń układu przestrzeni publicznych. Te zaś są konsekwencją zmian otoczenia kulturowego. Tezę tę poparto przykładem przekształceń układu przestrzennego centrum Góry Kalwarii. W pracy przeanalizowano schematy przestrzeni publicznej z różnych etapów rozwoju miasta.

An old age of the spatial structure of the city manifests itself in a number of transforma-tions of the public space layout. Those ones are the consequence of changes of the cultural sur-roundings. That thesis was supported by the example of transformations of the spatial arrangement of the center of Góra Kalwaria city. In the work it was analysed schemas of the public space from different development periods of the city.
