The paper presents a discussion of the possibility of converting information associated with public transport to GTFS standard. It provides guidance to develop GTFS base, paying attention to the essential elements of the timetable. Presented errors and inconsistencies occurring in the available online timetables affecting the proper standard of data conversions to the destination.
