Warunki geologiczno-inżynierskie w obrębie dawnej rynny jeziornej wraz z przykładem posadowienia budynku
The paper describes the geological structure of the area by the one of the largest lakes of the Lubuskie Lake District - Lake Niesłysz. The area, which was once meadows, is now intended for residential development. As the geological and geotechnical research shows, there are thick organic sediments in the subsoil: peats, gyttja and lake chalks. Geological data show that there was a water reservoir in the form of a ribbon lake. The organic soils were deposited in a standard geological setting, but due to their young age and location, they turned out to be above average weak and compressible. For the purposes of this study, data from 17 research points, consisting of CPTu drillings and soundings as well as hydrogeological drillings, were used. On their basis, a model of the geological structure of the former water reservoir was created. The following part of the work also presents the parameters of organic soils and the underlying mineral soils, obtained from CPTu investigations. Due to very unfavorable conditions and the need for piling, the building was designed and constructed in only 4 cases. Examples of foundation calculations for one of the tested area are presented.
