Technologiczne uwarunkowania ewolucji układów napędowych zbiornikowców LNG

W artykule przedstawiono ewolucję budowy gazowców LNG: wzrost liczby statków z rozróżnieniem ich pojemności, prędkości pływania i układów napędowych. Zidentyfikowano stany eksploatacyjne współczesnych gazowców. Na tym tle pokazano wymagania stawiane układom napędowym zbiornikowców LNG i ich uwarunkowania technologiczne. Rozpatrzono projektowe cechy układów napędowych z tłokowymi silnikami spalinowymi, przeprowadzono ich ocenę porównawczą i wskazano kierunki rozwoju.

This article presents the evolution of LNG carrier construction: the increase in the number of carriers with differences in their capacity, speed and power systems. Operational states of contemporary gas carriers have been identified and with this background requirements to be fulfilled by LNG carriers and their technological conditions were shown. Design properties of power systems with piston diesel engines were considered, their comparative analysis was carried out and further development directions were indicated
