Najczęstszą przyczyną awarii lub katastrof mostów są rozmycia przy ich podporach. Stąd celowość monitorowania przy nich stanu koryt cieków. W pierwszej części artykułu są przedstawione przenośne systemy monitoringu: sondy manualne, sonary i instrumenty geofizyczne. W drugiej części artykułu przedstawiono stałe systemy: obniżający się pierścień, czujniki uruchamiane przez erozję i reflektometry.

The most common cause of bridge failure or disaster is scour at their supports. Hence the requirement to monitor the condition of channel beds around them. The following portable monitoring systems are presented in the first part of the article: manual probes, sonars and geophysical instruments. The second part of the article discusses fixed systems: dropping ring, erosion-triggered sensors and reflectometers.
