Article take issues of power security, in the relationship to renewable energy sources (RES). Author argues, that the potential to deliver power security by the traditional energy sector is significantly limited and it is risk from structural, technic, economic and environmental point of view. On the other hand, power sector based on RES reduces aforementioned risks and may be an innovative impulse for economy.
