Przedstawiono możliwość wykorzystania systemów CAD i CAD/CAM do komputerowo zintegrowanego opracowania procesów przygotowania produkcji. Na przykładzie modernizacji dźwigni rygla głowicy maszyny szyjącej omówiono przebieg projektowania wyrobu i przygotowania produkcji z wykorzystaniem obrabiarek sterowanych numerycznie.
