Revitalisation and the termomodernisation of a historic post-industrial building with a change of function

This article presents an architectural concept for the revitalisation and thermomodernisation of an industrial and manufacturing building of the Stara Gorzelnia (Old Distillery) of 1906 in Policzna in the Mazowieckie region with a concept for the modernisation of the heat source and the use of renewable energy sources. Calculations of energy demand and carbon dioxide emissions in the existing state and after modernisation are presented. The calculations show the potential to reintroduce the building to the local community, improve the comfort of the building's exterior cladding and the possibility of lowering its energy demand and achieving a zero-emission building standard, which fits in with current trends and energy policies in European Union countries to halt climate change.

W artykule przedstawiono koncepcję architektoniczną rewitalizacji i termomodernizacji budynku przemysłowo-magazynowego Starej Gorzelni, wybudowanego w 1906 r. w miejscowości Policzna w województwie mazowieckim, z koncepcją modernizacji źródła ciepła oraz wykorzystaniem odnawialnych źródeł energii. Przedstawiono obliczenia zapotrzebowania na energię i emisji dwutlenku węgla w stanie istniejącym oraz po modernizacji. Pokazują one możliwości przywrócenia obiektu społeczności lokalnej, poprawy komfortu jego użytkowania związanego z podniesieniem parametrów obudowy zewnętrznej oraz obniżenia zapotrzebowania na energię i osiągnięcie standardu budynku zeroemisyjnego, co wpisuje się obecnie w trendy i politykę energetyczną krajów Unii Europejskiej.
