To meet competition, businesses must introduce new management methods enabling fast decision making, what is the prerequisite for innovation not only in the manufactured product but, first of all, for innovative forms of operation. This explains the recently growing popularity of outsourcing as a method of organization management. Transfer of some business areas to external organizations in each case should be considered in a long-term perspective, which is a premise for incorporating such actions into the management strategy of a given organization.
