Profesor Marian Madeyski : wspomnienie z okazji 35 rocznicy śmierci

Jedną z najwybitniejszych postaci w dziejach Instytutu Transportu Samochodowego (ITS) był prof. nauk ekonomicznych Marian Madeyski. Ten znakomity ekonomista i organizator transportu był długoletnim dyrektorem ITS (1961-1977), członkiem Polskiej Akademii Nauk (PAN), a także twórcą kierunku i założycielem Katedry Ekonomiki Transportu w Szkole Głównej Handlowej w Warszawie. W 2013 r. mija okrągła 35 rocznica jego śmierci. W artykule przypomniano sylwetkę tego wybitnego ekonomisty i transportowca.

One of the most prominent figures in the history of the Motor Transport Institute (ITS) in Warsaw was Professor of economic science Marian Madeyski. This eminent economist and organizer of transport, was a longtime director of ITS (1961-1977), a member of the Polish Academy of Science, and also the founder and creator of Transport Economics Department at the Warsaw School of Economics. 2013 marks the 35th anniversary of his death. This is an excellent opportunity to remember this outstanding economist and transport specialist, who contributed greatly to the development of post-war Polish motor transport.
