Environmental Analysis for the Melting of Aluminum Bronzes Process
Not yet been clarified issues impact the individual components of slag refining. This applies to impacts on the process of mass transfer and the environment. For these ingredients include substances of stimulating the process of refining slag. The aim of the present study was to show the possibility of optimizing the components of the slag, through the use of stimulating substances intentionally introduced in the conditions of melting aluminum bronzes conditions. The analysing of the studied refiners compositions at an angle of environmental impacts noted a significant impact promoters containing sodium fluoride. Changes refining effect (on the plus side), however cause significant environmental burden. As evidenced by the results presented in Table 5 it follows that not only a fluorine leak out of the slag, but also react with the compounds of silicon and calcium. Compounds of fluorine therefore create a risk to the ambient gas in foundries. To the detriment of chloride NaCl speaks while the formation of water-soluble compounds which may pose a risk to groundwater. However, this can be countered through special bulkheads for storage of waste slag. We conclude that under the conditions of melting aluminum bronzes should be used slags containing no fluorine compounds.
W artykule przedstawiona zostanie analiza środowiskowych oddziaływań żużlowych powłok rafinujących w warunkach topienia brązów aluminiowych. Zostaną pokazane analizy termiczno-różnicowe analizowanych powłok rafinacyjnych. Przeprowadzona zostanie analiza powstających produktów.
