Prefabrykaty zbrojone drewnem w architekturze

Zaprezentowano dwudziestowieczną historię rozwoju technologii prefabrykatów betonowych zbrojonych drewnem, ujmowanych tu jako cenna część dziedzictwa technologicznego (uwypuklono polski wkład w ten wątek rozwojowy). Wskazano, w jakim zakresie kontynuację tego dziedzictwa technologicznego stanowią współczesne kompozyty drewnobetonowe (TCC). Opisano też zakres architektonicznych zastosowań prefabrykatów zbrojonych drewnem.

The twentieth-century history of the development of timber-reinforced precast concrete technology, seen here as a valuable part of the technological heritage, is presented (the Polish contribution to this thread is highlighted). The extent to which contemporary wood-concrete composites (TCC) are a continuation of this technological heritage is indicated. The range of architectural applications of wood-reinforced prefabricated elements is also described.
