In the introduction of the article the author presents definitions of terrorism. He quotes views on differences that appear in such notions as terrorist activity, partisan (guerillas’) activity or sabotage. In the further part of the article he discusses four groups subject to terrorist attacks, military including. He gives examples of engaging the military forces in actions directed against terrorism like in a French anti-crisis plan “Vigi Pirat”. He describes different terrorist attacks directed against particular countries or state authorities. The author discusses methods used by terrorists while attacking the military, taking Israel as an example.
