W pracy opisano styl kierowania przez cele, zadania i instruktażowy. Wyszczególniono czynniki mające wpływ na przyjętą metodę zarządzania. Należą do nich między innymi: charakter kierownika, przygotowanie podwładnych, zaufanie do podwładnych, stopień centralizacji, wysokość szczebla kierowniczego, wielkość systemu logistycznego, charakter prowadzonych działań, okres potrzebny do przygotowania poleceń oraz wykonania zadanych procesów, tempo zmienności i nieprzewidywalności sytuacji w czasie, zdolność gromadzenia, wymiany i przetwarzania informacji. Dokonano omówienia znaczenia poszczególnych uwarunkowań. Zwrócono uwagę na wzajemne relacje między poszczególnymi czynnikami oraz konieczność całościowego traktowania okoliczności funkcjonowania systemu logistycznego przy doborze metody kierowniczej.

These include inter alia: the nature of the manager competences subordinates, trust in subordinates, degree of centralization, the height of a senior executive, the size of the logistics system, the nature of its activities, the time needed to prepare the command and the implementation of selected processes, the rate of volatility and unpredictability of the situation at the time, the ability collection, exchange and processing of information. There have been discussing the importance of individual circumstances. Attention is paid to the interaction between the factors and the need for a comprehensive treatment of the circumstances of the operation of the logistics system in the selection of the method of steering.
