Racjonalne zagospodarowanie ciepła ze spalarni odpadów w systemie ciepłowniczym – problemy organizacyjne, prawne, technologiczne oraz uzyskane efekty

W artykule przedstawiono funkcjonowanie systemu ciepłowniczego Krakowa z wykorzystaniem ciepła pochodzącego z Zakładu Termicznego Przekształcania Odpadów (ZTPO). Opisano proces termicznego przekształcania odpadów i produkcji energii elektrycznej i ciepła. Poruszono aspekty organizacyjne, prawne i technologiczne. Opisano konsekwencje włączenia ZTPO do istniejącego systemu, m.in.: zmiana struktury zasilania przez poszczególne źródła oraz konieczność współpracy na wspólnym obszarze zasilania dwóch źródeł o różnej charakterystyce.

The article presents the functioning of district heating system in Krakow with the use of heat energy derived from the waste incineration plant – Zakład Termicznego Przekształcania Odpadów (ZTPO). The waste thermal treatment process and the production of electricity and heat energy are described. The organizational, legal, and technological aspects have been raised. There have been also presented the consequences of including the ZTPO to the existing system, i.a. the change of powering structure by the sources and the necessity of cooperation of two power sources with different characteristics in the common powered area.
