Quality of work environment– a regional scope

The practical aim of the study was to define the quality of the working environment of persons employed in the furniture industry in the local labor market of the Opole Voivodeship. The paper recommends the characteristics of the timber and furniture industry were presented, with particular emphasis put on the furniture industry. An analysis of selected indicators shaping the work environment was performed. The opinions on the work environment expressed by the production employees were also taken into account. It has been found that despite the apparent improvements in this field, it is still on an unsatisfactory level.
