The urban-processes in the second half of the twentieth and the turn of the tweenty first century cause of many changes in the economic, social and spacial sphere of the contemporary town. They have an effect on the substantial change of the environment the man's life, work and his rest, intellectual and cultural evolution too. This changes show expressively the function of the town; its aestetic image, which is noticable in the area of the old and present suburbs. The best idea for the contemporary suburbs has been searching for many years. The question concerning the importance the function and the architectural form of the suburbs is still open. The research should lead to cultural ennoble of the outskirts, - which are the gate to the town, its heart.
