The transport infrastructure in Poland has a significant influence on transport of heavy combat equipment and is a reason for many problems of technical nature. It is difficult to conduct operations which require exploitation of existing transport infrastructure, and thus the utilization of the EU financial means to improve the situation would be advisable. The author concludes that a development of modern transport infrastructure is a crucial factor affecting security of Poland.
