W artykule omówiono wprowadzanie do Biblioteki CIOP-PIB systemu bibliotecznego ALEPH (Automated Library Expanable Program), który ułatwia uzyskiwanie szybkiej, aktualnej i trafnej informacji faktograficznej.

Nowadays traditional tools of access to information are insufficient because of the increasing requirements concerning the range and topicality of information. The implementation of the ALEPH (Automated Library Expandable Program) library computer system is described in the article. The system facilities access to up-to-date and accurate information.
