Mortar Projectile Reverse Shooting Test

In the article a reverse shooting test was described. The main idea of the test was to shoot the mortar projectiles inserted in the barrel in the opposite way, i.e. with the fins at the front. The test was designed to analyze the supersonic mortar projectiles aerodynamic coefficients at the significant total angles of attack. At the beginning the test setup was shown. During the test three projectiles were fired at the different charges. In the article all available data gathered during the test was shown. Also, the high disturbed flight at the beginning was described. The author concluded the gathered data and added the suggestions of the test improvements.
